The Park

I built the walkway last year. Lined with weed cloth,
5 tons of gravel and a bunch of stones to border.
Kept me busy for a bit...

Louise in the center is looking out for the park.
Started the side walkways, have the Mariposite outcrop and planted 72 baby Salvias.

Lulu, named after Bea's two most loved women:
Louise Brooks and Louis Veronica Chiccone.

Park building is a lot of work and it spends a lot of money. Builds muscles and makes the body ache.
My Landscape Architect lady, Anne Attinger is a genius and her plan is perfect for my taste :) and perfect for our ranch.

Last symphony this season

London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas.
That all should sound reasonably entertaining.
I even got new curls for this concert, but they frizzed up by the end,
because my head was hurting so much.

Benjamin Britten, Shostakovich and Sibelius.
A lot of bad music was written, but to put them all into one evening is not fair.
I could've been equally annoyed attending a rock concert.

I'm not complaining. It's not in my nature to complain :)
At least we looked very pretty and feeling good about deciding not
to renew our subscription for next season.
We have a lot of good music to hear that cost far less.

But will you look at my new flapper curlies?
I love 'em!!!!!!

Symphony Date 5

National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico night.

Feel like Edwardian for the night. Why not?

My handsome baby

Who is ready for a concert?

Buck will hold down the rugs while we are gone.
That's his favorite job.

Spitzers wants to go.
He is always ready to party.

Fantastic concert! The best of the season so far. We loved the authentic
Mexican music the orchestra played.
Alfonso Moreno sure knows how to make a guitar sound good.
They played the Brahms 4th, but Mark and I agreed that we should
leave that for the Germans to perform.
